Happy Easter!

Well, we didn't make it to see Rob & Kam this weekend, but we did enjoy a chilly but happy Easter with our lifegroup from church. Fred and Mary Rose, who loan us their house for our group meeting each week, happen to be very accomplished cooks, so we had a delicious meal that included roasted lamb, ham, homemade bread, some delicious side dishes, and, my personal fav., a selection of desserts.

It all made for a very nice day and seemed like a good way to celebrate the fact that we're family in Christ.

Fred is also Ryan's kindred spirit in the plant department. These orchids were all grown by Fred in the greenhouse attached to their home. Amazing and beautiful!

So what did you think of the roasted lamb? Cory had brazed lamb or something like that at a restaraunt and it was nasty! I cracked up about your last post and the Jerry Springer letter. I had never heard that story about Ryan before- you landed yourself quite a catch missy:) My favorite Ryan story is when he got his tooth knocked out at a soccer game and then made shirts with a smiley face missing a tooth for his soccer camp. It also cracked me up that he gave his brother his tooth implant for Christmas. Happy birthday Ryan.
